Training for stakeholders :

The role of reading in an educational success plan

We often hear about the importance of reading from an early age. Why and how can we integrate reading into our activities with children and parents? What reading advice should we give to parents in survival mode?

Some children arrive at kindergarten with a thousand hours of reading experience, while others have only received about 15 hours... Some schoolchildren live in material, social or intellectual poverty; some are diagnosed with a learning or behavioural disorder; some parents have dropped out of secondary school themselves, feel helpless with regard to their child's schooling and need support.

Whether you work with toddlers or pre-teens, JAME can provide you with tips and tricks to make reading a central part of your interventions and activities.
