Teaching tools: diversity and plurilingualism

These educational tools allow for language awareness activities and familiarise children, from early childhood to upper primary school, with cultural and linguistic diversity.

Children of the World" literacy kit

Our ELE kits are turnkey, designed to be used by early childhood professionals in individual and group settings.

The "Children of the World" kit contains multilingual, audio, textless and difference-oriented books. It also has a wealth of teaching materials and several activities to do with the children after reading.

Story bags for allophone families

Unlike the ELE kits, which are designed for early childhood professionals, our story bags are designed for families to encourage reading at home in a family setting. These bags include two durable books, an illustrated teaching sheet and materials to continue reading with a simple activity to do at home. Carefully selected for their ease of reading or retelling in several languages, these two books can be textless, audible, multilingual or have sufficiently eloquent illustrations to allow the content of the book to be understood without necessarily resorting to the text.

Intercultural bibliography

Our intercultural bibliography contains more than sixty titles of children's literature for 0-9 year olds and is divided into five categories: difference, cultural diversity, linguistic diversity, books without text and books that allow children to play with language in order to encourage the acquisition of a metalinguistic awareness useful for language learning.
